The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Delivering a wide range of palletised and packaged agricultural products to farms, Wynnstay stores, and other customer sites
Loading and unloading goods in a safe and compliant manner, ensuring correct handling of products
Ensuring all delivery documentation is completed accurately and in a timely fashion
Carrying out vehicle safety checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy at all times
Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and colleagues
Complying with all relevant transport legislation and company procedures
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
Current Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
Previous experience in general haulage, palletised goods, or multi-drop delivery
A strong understanding of vehicle safety and transport compliance
Good communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently
Willingness to undertake manual handling and assist in loading/unloading where necessary
