SHAREHOLDER FAQs

1. I’m not very familiar with shares – can you explain what it means to be a shareholder in Wynnstay Group?

Certainly. If you own shares in Wynnstay Group plc, it means you own a small part of the company. As a shareholder, you may receive dividend payments (a share of the company’s profits) and can vote on key decisions at our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

2. I have found some share certificates in a relative’s papers – what should I do?

If the share certificates are in the name of someone who has passed away, you’ll need to contact our registrar, Neville Registrars Limited, who manage our shareholder records. They can guide you through the process of transferring ownership. You can contact Neville on:

3. I want to change the name or address on my shareholding – how do I do that?

This is handled by Neville Registrars. You can request a change by contacting them by phone, email, or post. They will guide you through the necessary steps and forms.

4. I’ve lost my share certificate – what should I do?

Don’t worry – it’s a common issue. Neville Registrars can help you replace a lost certificate. They will ask you to complete an indemnity form and may charge an administration fee. Contact them directly to get started.

5. How and when are dividends paid?

Wynnstay usually pays dividends twice a year – an interim dividend in the summer and a final dividend in the spring. Dividends can be paid directly into your bank account (which we recommend), or by cheque if preferred. Neville Registrars can help you set up or update your payment details.

6. Can I have dividends paid into my bank account instead of getting cheques?

Yes – and many shareholders prefer this. Simply contact Neville Registrars and they’ll send you a form or guide you through the process to provide your bank details securely.

7. What should I do if the shareholder has died?

You’ll need to notify Neville Registrars. They will explain the steps involved and what documents are required – usually including a death certificate and either a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration.

8. Can I sell the shares – and how would I do that?

Yes, you can sell your shares through a stockbroker or a share dealing service of your choice. This can usually be done online or over the phone. Please note that there will be a fee for selling shares, which varies depending on the provider you use.

9. How can I find out the current share price?

You can check the Wynnstay Group plc share price on financial websites or via the London Stock Exchange. Our ticker symbol is WYN.

10. I don’t have the internet – can I still manage my shares?

Absolutely. Neville Registrars offer support by phone and post for those who prefer not to use online services. Just give them a call on 0121 585 1131 and they’ll assist you.

11. How can I attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)?

As a shareholder, you’ll receive a formal invitation to the AGM. It will include all the information you need to attend in person or vote by proxy (if you’re unable to attend). The AGM is a chance to hear from the board and ask any questions you may have.

12. I’ve received a suspicious letter or call about my shares – what should I do?

Please be cautious – some scammers target shareholders. If something feels suspicious, do not share any personal details. Contact Neville Registrars or report it to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for advice.

13. I don’t think I received a dividend payment – what should I do?

If you believe you’ve missed a dividend payment, the first step is to contact Neville Registrars. They can check your payment history and confirm whether a dividend was issued to you. Sometimes payments are delayed due to incorrect bank details or a change of address, and in some cases, the cheque may have gone uncashed. Neville can help arrange for a reissue if needed.

14. Can I get a statement of my dividends for tax purposes?

Yes, you can request a dividend statement (also known as a tax voucher) from Neville Registrars. This will show the total dividends you’ve received during the tax year, which may be helpful when completing your tax return. You can request this by phone, email, or in writing.
