Wynnstay Group Plc is pleased to announce that George Franks will join the Group as Managing Director, Feed, with effect from 1 December 2026.
George will join Wynnstay from NWF Agriculture on 1 December 2026, following the completion of his existing contractual commitments. He brings more than 26 years of industry experience and an outstanding track record of commercial leadership within the agricultural sector. He will also become a member of Wynnstay’s Executive Committee.
Widely recognised and respected across the industry, George has spent the last decade serving as National Sales Director at NWF Agriculture, where he led national sales teams, developed strong customer relationships, and played a key role in driving commercial growth. His hands-on leadership approach and deep understanding of the feed sector make him exceptionally well positioned to lead Wynnstay’s Feed division through its next phase of growth.
A graduate from Harper Adams University with a degree in Agriculture with Land and Farm management, George combines strong academic foundations with decades of practical experience and sector knowledge.
His appointment comes at an exciting time for Wynnstay as the Group continues to invest in its people, capabilities and infrastructure to support long-term growth. As part of Genesis, Wynnstay’s strategy for growth and transformation, the business is focused on strengthening its commercial capability, enhancing its customer proposition and creating sustainable value across the Group.
