The British Free Range Egg Producer Association (BFREPA) Awards were held on Wednesday, 15th November, in Telford, and a Wynnstay colleague was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Steve Marriott, a Poultry Specialist who joined Wynnstay in 2020 was presented with the Lifetime Achievement award for his services to the industry.

Steve’s extensive experience throughout his years in the industry has given him a breadth of knowledge that’s almost unrivalled in today’s egg sector. This, coupled with his infectious personality, has led Steve to form so many friendships during his career. Steve has been a shining light in collaborative working, he has always been an integral link between industry colleagues.
At the age of 71 and after 50 years working in the egg sector, Steve will be looking forward to some well-deserved time spent restoring old tractors and motorcars and spending time with Gin at multiple craft fairs and with family, although I’m sure he’ll never really be too far away from our industry.
