On the 2nd of November, the winners of this year’s NFU Cymru/ Wynnstay Sustainable Agriculture award were announced.
Clive Swan and family from Ffrith Farm, Mold were presented with the award by Bryn Hughes, Wynnstay National Sheep & Beef Specialist.
The award recognises a commitment to the economic, environmental, social and cultural well-being of Wales.
Candidates for the Award were judged on their commitment across three categories:
- The production of high-quality food to world-leading standards
- The protection, maintenance, and enhancement of the quality of the farmed environment
- Involvement in and contribution to the rural economy, rural community, and Welsh culture.
Bryn Hughes, Wynnstay National Sheep & Beef Specialist, who also judged the award said:
